как очистить ckeditor с jquery

Как я могу очистить текстовую область ckeditor с помощью jquery одним нажатием кнопки/ссылки?

Я пробовал это: $("textarea.editor").val(''); и $("textarea.editor1").val(''); я попытался с 1 в конце из-за этой строки, когда init редактор $ckeditor->editor('editor1', $nDetails); в PHP
