Проблемы с Android JSON CharSet UTF-8

В настоящее время я работаю над Android-приложением, которое получает свои данные из API, который предоставляет данные JSON. Я сохраняю элементы для данных JSON как строки, которые приводят к появлению некоторого нечетного символа (например, "Â" ). Я понимаю, что это связано с набором символов, поэтому я установил InputStreamReader в "UTF-8", но, похоже, он не решил проблему.
