Я пытаюсь создать push-уведомление, которое определяет, какой вид открывается в соответствии с информацией, полученной от нажатия.

Мне удалось получить информацию из push, но теперь я пытаюсь открыть представление

Я бы сказал, что создание UIWindow каждый раз, когда вы хотите изменить rootViewController, это плохая идея. После пары изменений rootVC (с использованием верхнего решения) вы будете иметь много UIWindows в своем приложении за один раз.

На мой взгляд, лучшее решение:

  • Получить новый rootVC: let rootVC = UIStoryboard(name: "StoryboardName", bundle: nil).instantiateViewControllerWithIdentifier("newRootVCIdentifier") as UIViewController
  • Установить фрейм для нового rootVC из ограничений UIScreen: rootVC.view.frame = UIScreen.mainScreen().bounds
  • Установите новый корневой контроллер для текущего окна (здесь с анимацией): UIView.transitionWithView(self.window!, duration: 0.5, options: .TransitionCrossDissolve, animations: { self.window!.rootViewController = rootVC }, completion: nil)

Готово!

Вам не нужен метод window?.makeKeyAndVisible(), потому что это решение работает в текущем окне приложения.
